I never really understood why people write blogs until just recently when I realized, there’s a lot of shit that I have to say. No, this isn’t going to be some teen angst blog posting bullshit poetry or “I hate my life” type of things. You may have better things to read, or you may not. I am just here to offer a very blunt and perhaps different perspective on life and the happenings of the world around us. I just hope that this blog can be a success and even if it captures the attention of just a few readers, well that’s alright with me.
“Why the hell would you want to enter the obnoxious blogging community?” – You may be asking this to your computer right now, and if not, maybe you are now. Here’s my answer to your question. I’ve read a lot of blogs that don’t have anything to say at all. It’s not a very pleasing experience to listen to people ramble on about how much their life sucks (which is mostly expressed through crappy teen angst poetry, to which all the other friends respond, “What a great poem! Why isn’t this published?”). Unfortunately, I have found myself writing this bullshit before. It wasn’t until now when I realized, I have something to say about the world and I’m going to say it!
“So…what are you going to talk about?” - Well, I’ve already told you that I have something to say and I’m going to say it, so what exactly do I have to say? The world around us is constantly changing with improvements in technology and the US’s wonderfully collapsing economy. If I know or find out about something that I have a strong opinion towards, you’ll be the first to hear it. With the upcoming election I’m sure I’ll have a lot of stuff involving the campaign. I’m going to attempt to focus on the larger happenings in the world. I personally guarantee that every post will offer intelligent, insightful opinions on the happenings in YOUR world.
“Uhh…so what now?” – Now you have come to the end of my very first post as a “blogger”. I don’t know what to expect, you don’t know what to expect, but we all can probably agree on one thing…or maybe we can’t. And if we don’t agree, I’m here to tell you that you’re wrong and I am right.
