Tina Fey is Sarah Palin

Tina Fey is back again on Saturday Night Live (SNL) portraying presidential vice president candidate Sarah Palin. After a stunning opening performance two weeks ago, Fey is back again as Palin, this time parodying her press interview that took place a few days ago. A highlight from the skit includes Fey’s Palin stating, “Katie, I’d like to use one of my lifelines…I want to phone a friend.” It goes on to include one of the governors quoted lines from the interview, “Well, in that case, I’m just gunna have to get back to ya.”

The first parody by Fey and Poehler featured a conversation between Sarah Palin and Hilliary Clinton. The humorous skit was a hit, which is quite possibly the reason Fey was back again as Palin. Many fans concur that Tina Fey looks incredibly similar to Palin and would love to see more. It is unsure whether Fey, who is currently working full time on NBC’s 30 Rock, will once again become a regular on SNL.

xPirate Sends His Love to Tina Fey: First things first, this is the girl that brought us Mean Girls, one of the best movies of all time! Every time I’ve seen her perform, I’ve loved it. There’s no going wrong with Tina Fey. She’s a stunning actress, wonderful at writing comedy, and all around amazing in every way.

As far as the parodies of Sarah Palin, pure genius! I believe she accurately portrays the Alaskan governor, both in physical appearance and mentality. My favorite line of all so far was in the first skit where she said, “I can see Russia from my house!” I probably laughed for like 20 minute straight. This girl has got some real talent and I hope to see her a regular on SNL again.

  1. I caught the first appearance on SNL – very funny and a great likeness. I missed it last night though – I’ll have to check out youtube.

  2. You definitely should. Once again Tina Fey blows the audience away with a VERY funny parody. ^_^

  3. The best part was the end with the shooting the air and the pageant smile. I was rolling…
